Channy, a Brooklyn resident by way of El Monte, California, studied at Otis College of Art & Design, receiving a BFA in Fashion Design and was Designer of the Year in her graduating class.
After the last company she worked at shuttered, Channy dropped out of New York and wandered for a bit in the Galápagos Islands. Along the way she learned to snorkel, do away with hot showers, and tame a classroom of six to thirteen year old’s with non-existent Spanish skills.
When her camera went overboard in Ecuador, her sister gifted a simple point and shoot to tell her story.
She makes stuff as she goes along and found most days exploring Brooklyn and Manhattan.
